ResoluteSign is operated by Resolute Cyber Defense LLC d/b/a Jan Law Consulting. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit resolutesign.com or use the ResoluteSign signing platform, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account and contact details you give us, such as name, business name, email address, and billing address.
• Signing information needed to execute a document, such as signatory name, email address, signature image, attestation selections, timestamps, and the audit events recorded during a signing session.
• Technical information collected automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed, used to keep the service secure and reliable.
• Payment information processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store full card numbers.

How we use information

• To provide, secure, and support the signing platform.
• To create tamper evident records, attestation certificates, Signature IDs, and audit trails that make an executed document verifiable.
• To process subscriptions, invoices, and refunds.
• To respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
• To comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.

Documents you sign

Documents prepared or executed through ResoluteSign belong to you. We process them only to deliver the service. We do not sell them, mine them for advertising, or share them with third parties except where you direct us to, or where the law requires it.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers acting on our instructions, such as our payment processor, email delivery provider, and hosting provider, and only to the extent they need it to perform their function. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

We keep signing records and audit trails for as long as your account is active, and for such further period as is reasonably required to support the evidentiary value of an executed document or to meet a legal obligation. You may request deletion of material that we are not required to retain.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and tamper evident hashing of executed documents. No system is perfectly secure, so we also maintain procedures for investigating and responding to suspected incidents.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, a copy in portable form, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise any of these rights. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising them.

Children

ResoluteSign is a business service and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we make a material change to this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email.
